The jacket has a soft fleece on the inside and a brushed surface for extra comfort, and a zip. The jacket is water-repellent and has a Deerhunter® Stormliner® membrane on exposed areas for increased waterproofness. This jacket is extremely breathable, but still has a zip under the arms, providing the option of added ventilation during high levels of activity. With the Approach jacket, you'll be both well-dressed and well-prepared to enjoy an active hunting experience.

Two-way stretch

Windproof
If you choose one of Deerhunter’s products which have a membrane, it will automatically be windproof. Windproofing is the garment’s ability to keep the wind out. DEERHUNTER® Stormliner
The Deerhunter Stormliner® membrane is typically laminated to the outer fabric or between two layers of fabric, and is used on products without taped seams. Deerhunter Stormliner® membrane allows a very high level of breathability.
Waterproof & Breathability - 3.000/3.000
Water penetration resistance is measured in “millimetre water column pressure”. The water column pressure is measured by placing a liquid column gauge over the material so that material with water penetration resistance 5.000 mm can keep water out from a five metre (5.000 mm) gauge. Material with a water penetration resistance of 10.000 mm can resist water from a 10 metre (10.000 mm) gauge, etc. MVP value indicates breathability of a membrane. MVP value is an expression of the quantity of water vapour that can escape through one square meter of a membrane within 24 hours. A breathable product rated at 5.000 can therefore “breathe” 5.000 g (5 litres) water vapour per square metre in 24 hours.
Neoprene
Neoprene material is good at keeping warm/cool and shock-protection applications. Neoprene in general has good chemical stability, and maintains flexibility over a wide temperature range. The synthetic rubber is used among other things, in weather-resistant products.

After browsing our online store and selecting the suitable ammunition for your firearm, you will be brought through the checkout process where you will be requested to pay for the ammunition.
Once the purchase process is complete, and you have paid for the item, this is the process you will have to go through before your ammunition will be ready for delivery or available for you to collect from our shop:
Supply us with your Firearms Licence details by one of the following methods:
- SHIPPING: Scan and email both sides of your licence to info@thegunstore.ie and we will post the ammunition to your address.*
- LOCAL PICKUP - call into our shop and present your licence to a member of our sales team. Once you have a proof of payment (purchase confirmation emailed to your email), the ammunition can be collected from RED MILLS Outdoor Pursuits, Cillin Hill, Dublin Road, Kilkenny. See MAP.
